This is our last week of school. We started to celebrate our year of learning by having a sundae party. Thanks to our parent helpers – Leo’s Dad, Vincent’s Mom, Jack’s Mom and Etienne’s Mom. We also had two little brothers join us – Etienne’s little brother and Vincent’s little brother. It was so nice to meet them both. We started the afternoon with the sundaes, then did an ice cream flavor wordsearch with our friends, and finished the day with a bit of clean-up and organizing and dusting our classroom library.
My sundae was yummy! I started with vanilla ice cream, then I put some sliced bananas and strawberries on top. I added a few cut up reeses peanut butter cups and some oreo cookie pieces. I topped it with some chocolate sauce. I wish I had taken a picture of it. We have a sundae party at the end of each year and that is when I make my best sundae!

Dear Mrs Lynch and class,
So this is it your last class party and what a way to end it with an Ice Cream sundae yummy! I love it.
I wish I could just jump right over to your classroom so that I could have an ice cream sundae.
Your slideshow was amazing and you all looked like you were having a yummy time.
If I had to make up a special ice cream sundae I would have a flakes which is chocolate and heaps of berries.
I will miss you all, hope you have a wonderful summer holiday. For right here in Australia it is winter and I must say it has been very cold.
Take care and thank you for letting me into your wonderful world at school with your awesome teacher Mrs Lynch.
From your biggest fan,
AA

Dear Mrs Lynch,
Now that school is over, I would like to use your blog to thank you for teaching Léo for the last 2 years.
Josée and I are feeling very fortunate for having you as a teacher for our son. I just watched the DVD you provide us, Cycle One Memories, and I had such a great time looking at it, seeing all these wonderful moments. I cannot believe all the efforts you put into this for us to enjoy, though I should never be surprised of you making efforts and putting time. It is also something I realized going through the DVD, all the efforts you did, all the work you put so school would be enjoyable for students, to provide a great learning atmosphere for them all. I am very proud of all the progress Léo, and I am sure all the others students, made during these 2 years, he is ready for cycle two, no doubt there (but needs a well deserved break!).
Again, it is just a small word of appreciation, we all wish you a great summer, lots of reading, fishing, rest, we will see you this fall, if we do not have the chance before.
This summer, Léo will play hockey, will have a week long hockey school and a week long golf school with his brother. He will also go to Europe to see his cousins with Julien and Josée. Myself, I will go to your country, golfing in California, La Quinta, this fall.
Eric and Josée
Dear Eric and Josee,
Thank you so much for your kind words. They are really appreciated. I want to thank you both for being so supportive of the class blog. It is a bit of work to keep it up but I do love being able to share with parents and classrooms around the world what we are doing. We can learn so much from each other. I really appreciated how I could always count on both of you to look at our new posts and make comments.
Have a wonderful summer. Your family plans sound awesome.
From,
Mrs. Lync
