Room 102 would like to wish all the Dads out there a very happy day. We made cards last week that we hope you will like. We talked about you in class. Were your ears burning? That is an English expression that means you could tell that you were talked about. Well here are some of the things we brainstormed.
We love when our Dad:
Plays with me in the pool.
Plays catch with me in the backyard.
Takes me golfing with him.
Plays with me.
Takes me to the restaurant.
Reads with me.
Listens to me read.
Helps me with my Math.
Helps me with my homework.
Takes me to Hockey Games.
Spends time with me.
Talks to me.
Plays hockey with me.
Does sport with me.

Hello BB,
It was so nice to hear from you. Thanks for sharing about your Dad. Spending time with your Dad is the best! Enjoy your school holiday. I think your Mum said you were off for a few weeks. Enjoy it.
The weather here has been nice – sunny and warm. We barbecued hamburgers tonight on the grill.
from your good friends in Quebec,
Mrs. Lynch and class
Dear Mrs Lynch and class,
I hope all your dad’s had a super Father’s Day. We celebrate Father’s Day later on in the year.
I know BB love’s to spoil her dad for father’s day.
For he loves chocolate so that is high on our list when having to buy a special present.
I can’t believe that soon your year of school will be over.
From your friend down under,
AA
Dear AA,
My Dad loved chocolate too!! He would buy a big Hershey almond chocolate bar.
Then he’d hide it so us kids wouldn’t find it and eat it. We always looked but he had some good hiding places. Ha ha.
Your good friend,
Mrs. Lynch
Dear Andre,
Thanks so much for leaving us a voice message. It sounds like you had a nice Father’s Day with picking strawberries and did you say you did some swimming, too? Fun!
