Grade 2 would like to wish all our Moms and Grandmothers a very happy Mother’s Day tomorrow, May 13, 2012. We painted a landscape 2 weeks ago. This past week we made our Moms a card. We wrote a thank you letter to our Moms, too. We hope our card and gift will make you feel special and loved. Have a great day.

I think there will be some very proud and happy mums on Mother’s Day this year! What very beautiful pictures you have created, it is very clear how much concentration and effort went into producing your lovely works of art. Well done!

Dear Mrs Lynch and class,
The children did an amazing job on their art work. I really do believe these painting would make every mum so very proud. The children can be proud so proud.
My mother’s day was yesterday and I have to say it was really lovely. For BB made me a lucky dip where all day long I would have to reach into a box which she decorated herself and pull out different gifts which BB hand made and some bought.
Then we went to visit my mum and had a lovely roast dinner with her.
Happy mother’s day to all the mum’s from AA.
Once again Mrs Lynch a beautiful post and I thank you!

Hi Mrs Lynch and class,
I’m sure your Mum’s loved the cards you made for them. I’m a Mum and I know how much I love the things my children make for me – it’s so much more special than anything bought from a shop.
Did you notice I wrote ‘Mum’ instead of ‘Mom’? That’s how we write and pronounce it in Australia! I’m looking forward to discussing it with the children from room 6 next week!
Bye for now.
