Folk Tale 14. What a cracking job you did at reading the tale. Every word was clear and as it involved potatoes, it was a winner with me!
My kids often feel nervous when they are in front of the camera, you seemed to be pretty confident.
    Well done
    Keep blogging.

      Dear Mr. E
Great to hear from you. Thanks for your encouraging comment for #14. I agree with you that the students read with confidence. I was so proud of them. It is great to be in touch with you.

    Dear Mrs Lynch and children,

Wow once again you all did such an awesome job Brave to each and everyone of you.

Your folk tale stories were great that I wanted to hear more.
I must say you all have got great imaginations as, I really don’t think I could write a folk tale story.

Mrs Lynch I bet you are so proud of the children.

From your number one fan down under,
    AA. :)

P.S I am proud of you all too!

      Dear AA and BB,
Thanks so much for your wonderful comments. You are so often in our thoughts in the classroom. I was taking some photos yesterday and Bianca’s name came up because someone said she would see us on the blog. I think we were doing Art. We are working on a piece called “Concentric Circles” which was done by Wassily Kandinski. We’ve made our circles and now need to finish them with watercolor.

We have next week off for our March Break and then we will be back. I do have a post that I am working on – maybe I can post it before I leave for the U.S.

    Dear Mrs Lynch and Students,
    Awesome post.

I just loved the expression in your voices it sounded like the story had come to life. I imagine what was happening.

You have been doing an awesome job with your reading so keep it up.

    Great Job.

    From your pal,
    BB.

    Hi Room 102
You must be very proud of your stories- you have obviously worked really hard to think up your idea, create your cover, write your story and then read it aloud – well done all of you. I loved the expression you put into reading your work – especially on camera AND in front of your classmates, which makes it doubly difficult!
Tomorrow is our World Book Day and we will be having a full day devoted to books and stories… do you celebrate World Book Day too?

      Hi Mrs. Monaghan,
So great to hear from you. Thanks for you very encouraging comment. I am very proud of my class. I think all their stories were so special. We have been reading Fairy Tales by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson. I am hoping they will equally love writing their own Fairy Tale. We just had a big snowstorm yesterday. Now we have lots of snow. It seems like Winter has finally come. We have next week off from school and I am looking forward to some rest and exercise. I plan to do some skiing.

    Hello class,
What a great project! Your stories are all so fun! Keep up your good work everyone.

James, you did a great job, Mom is so proud of you!

Mrs. Lynch, is there any way to save these videos to our own computer? I tried from Vimeo, but couldn’t find a way… I would love to keep this (and all the other ones James did in the last year) as souvenir, not just the link that might eventually be lost…
    THANK YOU!

    • Eric

      Good day Micheline,

      It is a good idea!

I asked Uncle Google, we often ask him questions here, he always has an answer for us (well sometimes too many answers, but that’s an other story), this guy knows everything….

There is a video that explains how to do it at that link:

      http://vimeo.com/10259948

You have to create an account on Vimeo.

I tried and was able to download a video. but I needed that info also from Vimeo’s help:

Is your browser loading and playing the video instead of downloading it? Try right-clicking the download link and choosing the “Save as” option.

      And it worked.

      Have a good day!

      Eric
