Another Puppet Show

December 10, 2011 · 6 Comments · Uncategorized

Watch another puppet show below. This boy went home after watching the first puppet show and made this all on his own (the stage and the stick puppets, etc.). He brought it to school the next day and he asked his friend to help him present it to the class. They retold the ABRA version of the story from memory.  Well done students.

What do you think?

Are you impressed that these students can speak English so well?  Their mother tongue is French.

What a delight to see children exploring their ideas at home and then sharing them through the school blog. It’s the type of post to encourage other children to have a go. As for the quality of the language, it is excellent.
It’s always a pleasure dropping by room 102, these performers have certainly added to my day.
Did they rope in mum on the camera?

    Dear Mr. E,
Thank you for your lovely comment and encouragement. We love hearing from you. I did the filming at school but I think his Mom will be very impressed with the outcome.

I do hope other students will have a go at performing, too.

    Have a great day.

    Dear Mrs Lynch and children,

Wow! what a wonderful job you both did preforming three billy goats I loved it so much.

You both used your voices with so much expression which really bought the puppet show to life.
I feel you both will make wonderful actors someday.

I am a bit slow on commenting on your blog sorry as I have been out Christmas shopping which is always fun.

Thank you for sharing with us all you wonderful puppet show.

From your number on fan down under,
    AA.

      Dear AA,
I so enjoy seeing your comments on our blog. Thinking about you as you do your Christmas shopping probably in your shorts as we are bundling up in our warm coats these days. I used to live in San Diego, California though so I do remember celebrating Christmas in warm weather. It is very different here though we only have a sprinkling of snow so far.

I am happy that you enjoyed this puppet show. I think they did a great job, too.
      Merry Christmas !!

    Dear Mrs Lynch,
Awesome post. I love your video.

I am so impressed with your students puppet play they both did. Mrs Lynch they should be in grade 3.

Like AA said both children used so much expression to describe and get the feel of each of the characters in the puppet show.
    Awesome play!
    From your pal,
    BB.
