Mrs. Shulman’s grade 2 class in the United States did a wonderful Voicethread of their Country projects. We loved watching the Voicethread. Molly did her project on Canada. It started us thinking about the foods that we like to eat. Someone mentioned Poutine – which is french fries with fresh cheese and gravy on top. It is very popular here in Quebec. Kamillah came to school with a song so we all learned it in Music Class today. What do you think?

Yum!
We are going to create an Australian version by trying cheese and gravy on hot chips!

I had to laugh. Here we are on the other side of the world and we are all talking about fried potatoes. After I signed off with the last comment I wondered whether you have this link for our second favourite video site ( after Peep and the Big Wide World) because both classes are also wild about animals.
Here is a link to the National Geographic Video site.

The ‘Snail Zombies’ video is our all time favourite but there are loads more that are great and even some cartoons too.
