We had our first big snow storm this week.

We had a comment from Sue and her class in Australia wondering about our snow. Catherine says she likes it when we have a big mountain of snow in our schoolyard. When we get a lot of snow the plow pushes all the snow together. Ben likes when we have a snow day. The school is closed because there is too much snow. We haven’t had a snow day yet this year but we hope we will have one soon.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your email. Is it okay to publish it on our blog? We have 2 days left of school and then we are on Summer break. So, have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year and we will be in touch when we are back at school at the end of January.
We were very excited because it rained all weekend. We had 80mm of rain which is great because we have been in drought for years! it was a beautiful sunny day today though.

I guess it’s not good if the snow is too heavy. We don’t have snow where we live. So we really don’t know how it is like to have so much
snow. It must be very cold.
